Dear Friends,
I have just returned from a fabulous trip to New England. One of my favorite places during my week long trip was Waterbury, Vermont. While in Waterbury, I was able to enjoy my favorite ice-cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, during a fun and informative trip to the Ben and Jerry’s factory outlet. I learned how the ice-cream was made from cow to store, and everything in between.

After the tour, ice-cream tasting and trip to the company store, it was time for fun and games on the grounds. First, a photo op with my beloved ice-cream…

and then off to the ice-cream graveyard to pay my respects to all the interesting flavors that have come and gone.

Full from the ice-cream, it was time to wash it all down with a cool and refreshing drink, so off to the Cider Press Mill I went. Known for their wonderful apple cider and apple cider donuts, I just had to check it out. They were right, It was the best tasting cider I had ever had. Fresh and sweet, a very tasty treat.

Needless to say, when visiting Waterbury, Vermont, come hungry!

Stay tuned, more to come on my exciting trip to New England.
