Alhambra Authors Festival

The Alhambra Educational Foundation sponsors an Authors Festival for each of the 13 elementary schools in the Alhambra Unified School District. This event has attracted participants from all over California and several other states with more than 75 authors, illustrators, and storytellers participating, spending the day sharing their love of storytelling with students.

Tie One On For Autism - Fundraiser for The Autism Society: Tie One on for Autism benefit will include a specialty drink called "The Spectrum", a buffet dinner, dessert, entertainment, speakers, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Author Lisa Masters will be on hand to autograph her new book The Funny Side of Autism Around the World: Funny Things Children with Autism Do and Say and T - Shirts. Advanced tickets are $30.00 per person and $50.00 per couple. Tickets the night of the event are $40.00 per person and $65.00 per couple. Children 10 years old and under eat free.
